I received a resubmit request. Can I still move forward with my photo?

What to consider before skipping a new upload

It depends — especially if you're part of a team.

If your team selected "Quality" as their preference, your photo likely didn’t meet the required standards for consistency and professionalism. In this case, we recommend either retaking your photo or checking in with the person managing your team’s headshots to see if moving forward is an option. Some teams also have specific guidelines around posing or attire, and it's important to match those across all submissions.

If your team chose "Ease of Use" as their preference, we may still be able to work with your photo, as long as it's technically workable. However, if your image is too small, cropped, or heavily filtered, we may still need a new upload. Not sure? Simply reply to your resubmit request email, and our support team will review your photo and let you know if it’s usable.

Important Note:
If you choose to move forward with a photo that didn’t meet our recommended quality standards, you’ll be waiving our 30-Day Happiness Guarantee. That means:

  • You can still request edits to your final image.
  • But you won’t be able to submit a new photo later if you're unhappy with the result.
